Safety Relief Valves

We are proud partners and stockists of Valvulas Nacional (part of the Pekos Group) who have been designing and manufacturing safety relief valves since 1976 in accordance with the most recognised international standards. We have also achieved country-specific approvals which gives us capacity to support and supply a global market.

Well known within the solar industry for having high quality valves that can meet severe service requirements, Nacional Safety Valves are experienced in designing and manufacturing pressure safety valves suitable for many industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical and industrial.

Our UK and European stock range is available in semi and full nozzle design, from ½” to 12” and includes a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic materials including Inconel, duplex, super duplex and monel to meet severe service requirements.

Pressure safety valves are designed and manufactured in such a way that they do not required welding and therefore do not require additional NDT’s.

To complement our range of industrial safety valves, we also supply Jungmann hygienic safety valves which are manufactured in Germany and hold the FDA certification making them ideal for the food and drink industry as well as pharmaceutical, steam and chemical industries.

What Is A Safety Relief  Valve?

A safety relief valve, also known as a pressure relief valve or safety valve, is a crucial component used to protect equipment, systems, and processes from overpressure situations. Its primary function is to automatically release excess pressure when it exceeds a predetermined set point, preventing damage or failure. It is designed to open automatically when the pressure in the system it is protecting exceeds a predetermined level, releasing the excess pressure and preventing potential damage or catastrophic failure.

These valves are typically used in a variety of industrial applications, including oil and gas production, chemical manufacturing, power generation, and many others. They can be found in a wide range of equipment, such as pressure vessels, pipelines, and storage tanks.

Pressure safety relief valves are critical components of any system that involves the handling of pressurised fluids or gases. They play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of industrial equipment, protecting both the equipment and the people who work with it.
