The customer requirement was for two aluminium bronze valves with screwed ends which weren’t available in stock and as it was a small order, it would have a long lead time from the manufacturer as well as being costly due to the small quantity. The project required an aluminium bronze valve actuated to a fail-close specification and coated for an offshore environment. To help the customer, who had forgotten to order the valves in time, we manufactured them on the shortest lead time possible.
